We are delighted to welcome you to the Nordic meeting on Genetics and Pathogenesis of Immunological Diseases in Stockholm at the Karolinska Hospital the 30-31th of August 2012. The meeting will offer an exciting array of sessions ranging from molecular and genetic discoveries of disease pathogenesis to lectures on diagnostics and treatment of patients. Topics that will be discussed include strategies to go from genetical association to pathophysiology of inflammatory, monogenetic diseases and immune dysregulation, polygenic diseases like SLE, MS, RA and Sjögren syndrome, epigenetics as well as posttranslational modifications of antigens. Half a day will be dedicated to neuroimmunogenetics to honor the work of professor Tomas Olsson.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity for young scientists to meet the experts of the field and present their own work as oral presentations and posters. We hope that the outstanding scientific program together with the social events in Stockholm will create an unforgettable atmosphere for informal and stimulating scientific discussions.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we warmly welcome you to Stockholm and the Nordic Meeting on Genetics and Pathogenesis of Immunological Diseases.
